Twit O'Gram v 0.3 - Flexirrific!

This afternoon I spent some time rewriting the Twit O'Gram player in Flex. The reason for this was two-fold:
- FlexBuilder provides a more strict development environment which I love, with a great debugger and is an excellent IDE. Writing ActionScript in the Flash CS3 Actions panel is definitely improved from previous versions, but pales in comparison compared to FlexBuilder or FlashDevelop. And since I'm a coder first, that's what's most important to me.
- I deleted the original FLA by mistake and emptied the Trash. Yes I can get it back, but its not worth the effort
I'm using the FlexBuilder 3 beta available from Labs, which feels very solid. I'm still using the Flex2 framework though, since that's a final release. In any case, the AIR integration is great too once this thing gets closer to being done.
Anyways, the GUI is an homage to Twitterrific which I love. It simply pulls in the RSS feed of the twitogram user on Twitter and parses the contents so you can playback the posted MP3s. Right-clicking on the "download" link lets you save the file to your disk. Clicking on the username or the Twitter icon takes you to their Twitter page.
Next up I'll be integrating the Twitter API so you can view more info from the users using Twittergram (like profile pics), and possibly posting and replying messages. I have a prototype ready that records audio and video from your webcam, but the audio extraction problem lingers on.
Still wondering if the Twittergram service accepts FLVs... :)

Will you be updating it to reflect the new URL, i.e. the change from twitogram to twittergram?

Whoops, didn't notice that the feed URL had changed. Yet another thing to add to the settings panel which is on its way.
Anyways, should be working fine now: http://twittergram.paulofierro.com/
