Apollo has landed

At long last the alpha release of Apollo is now out on Labs and it looks very good! Lee Brimelow over at the Flex blog has been posting some nice examples, though my favorite is the utterly useless but still very cool FlexBook browser by Ely Greenfield.
Sadly my FlexBuilder trial has run out so I'll have to hook up the free SDK with TextMate like I've been doing for Flex so far and dive into the docs. Hope somebody gets around to building a bundle for TextMate, though its time to figure out how that works too. We need more hours in the day!
I've been a huge fan of mProjector for a while, but what I've seen from Apollo so far totally surpasses the projectors of yesterday. True cross-platform apps leveraging the Flash 9 player, allowing you to mix in the wonders of AS3 and its Ajaxian brethren and deliver it in a single, easy-to-install bundle. Java eat your heart out!

I wish if all mobiles could be programmed with Flash or Flex!
