Flash player 9 for all

Earlier today, after updating OS X to 10.4.8 I noticed that within the security updates was a little bit about upgrading the Flash Player to version 9. I imagine that is related to the flaw found in version 8 of the player that triggered MySpace to force its users to update to version 9. This means that Mac users (that update their software) and the 50+ million MySpace users will all be using version 9 soon. This is great news for anyone creating things for version 9 of the player, such as Flex2 heads.

I wonder if Microsoft will be doing the same for Windows users?
