Second Adobe User Group meeting

So yesterday was the second Macromedia Adobe User Group meeting here in Oslo which was alot of fun. Pil Smith, a traditional cel-based animator, showed off some of his Flash animation work. He's a frame-by-frame animator, with minimal tweening and little to no programming knowledge, and Flash is the only tool he uses. Very impressive stuff.
After that there was some discussion about using Actionscript to tween objects programatically using the Tweening classes. I briefly mentioned Fuse and its brilliance when it comes to sequencing animations and events.
Nine lucky winners, me included, got a Flex 2 API Reference poster from RocketBoots down under, showing a visual model of the 318 classes available. I guess its time to jump into Flex 2, I've had the beta installed for a while now but haven't really gotten to play with it.
