About me

I was born in Oslo, Norway in 1981 to a Norwegian father and Chilean mother. My family has been bitten by the travel bug so I grew up in Spain after a few years in Norway and the US, then onto the Bahamas and spent the last decade in the Cayman Islands.

In 2000, I relocated to Norway to study at the University of Oslo, and attained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2004. I started a Master's degree in Information Design but never quite finished.

In 2010 I relocated to Brighton to move in with my lovely girl and our cat.

I am currently working as an Flash Platform and iPhone developer in the UX department at Tarantell. Previous jobs have ranged from Flash development, web design/development, Perl hacking, and bagging groceries to entertaining tourists playing steel pan in hotels. However, front-end Flash/Flex-based development is what I'm most passionate about and I'm lucky enough to get paid to do just that :)

I'm also a an Adobe Certified Rich Internet Application Specialist and an Adobe Certified Expert in Flash MX 2004, Flash CS3 and Flex 2. I also manage Flash User Group Norway, the only official Adobe User Group in Norway.

Music is another love of mine, and in my free time I rip up my fingertips on my ESP LTD MH-1000.
